I'm glad you're here!

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in neurodivergence, relationships, parenting, and trauma. I am experienced in Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 & 2 and use Brainspotting to address trauma. My goal is to create a sacred space for you to come as you are and feel accepted, known, and supported. I am passionate about journeying alongside hurting and broken people with unconditional support and acceptance.
Therapeutic Orientation
I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities to suite the needs of each client. My therapeutic foundation is grounded in
-
Attachment Theory
-
Relational Neurobiology
-
Person-Centered Theory
-
Systems Theory
This means that my primary focus is on creating a sense of felt safety and secure attachment to empower you to wrestle with the nuisances and complexities of life.

Therapy is like doing a puzzle together. You come in with all these pieces and maybe some of the puzzle already put together, and I get the honor of joining you. I may notice that the reference picture is upside down, or maybe there are corner pieces nearby, or maybe you just need some company while you deconstruct the parts that once fit together so well. My role is to encourage, support, and equip you as you navigate the complexities of the puzzle.

I might be a good fit if you find yourself...
-
Recently diagnosed or curious about neurodivergence including Autism and ADHD
-
Experiencing relationship tension or transitions
-
Feeling more like roommates than partners
-
Ready to untangle the knots of relationship betrayals, trauma, and codependency
-
Needing someone else to hold hope for a little while
-
Frustrated because it feels like no one understands you
-
Wanting to be invisible
About Me
My passion for therapy has been cultivated by a life of wrestling with my own mental health battles and witnessing the struggles of others. Over the course of my personal therapy, I have come to realize that the most helpful role a therapist can take is to hold space for hope.

To keep myself grounded I love anything arts and crafts related, especially when it involves getting messy. I believe we learn best through play and creativity and try to embrace that for myself.

I pursued my undergraduate studies at Sacramento State University and most of my experience prior to my Masters includes working within the world of Applied Behavior Analysis, Autism intervention, and school support.

I received my Masters degree through Western Seminary and am happy to integrate faith and spirituality if desired.

I am also LGBTQIA informed and support this community.

“Sometimes hope is a radical act, sometimes a quietly merciful response, sometimes a second wind, or just an increased awareness of goodness and beauty.”
